Barclays to stop Cash withdrawals from Post Offices

Barclays bank announced on 8 October 2019 that their customers will not be able to withdraw cash at post offices from January 2020.

Due to bank branch closures, many people rely on post offices as a place to access vital banking services – especially in rural areas.

This will affect anyone who uses this facility when the Post Office comes to the Village Hall.

A petition has been started by the National Federation of SubPostmasters on Change.Org to attempt to change Barclays decision.
