A NATIONS TRIBUTE – 100 YEARS OF REMEMBERANCE

To commemorate the ending of the First World War 100 years ago, there will be a short ceremony outside St Peter’s Church on Sunday 11th November –

6:55pm  Trumpeter playing The Last Post

7:00pm  The Lighting of the Beacon on the Church Tower

7:05pm  The Bells Ring Out

This will be followed by a short prayer and two WW1 songs by the Community Choir.

CONTINUE THE EVENING IN THE RED LION

In support of the commemoration, the Red Lion will be offering evening entertainment with supper and music – £5 per ticket

Optional fancy dress – have fun and come dressed for the era!
