History

Little Budworth Jubilee Hall is located in the centre of the village.  The hall was originally part of the Vicarage and used as a coach house.  The Church converted the coach house into The Church Room, which was used as a Sunday School, library and for other village functions.  During the 1960’s the hall changed to secular status.  It was rarely used and became rather dilapidated.  In the 1970’s Villagers raised funds, and the Little Budworth Jubilee Hall Fund was set up.  The hall was enlarged and modernised to create a facility for the village.  Both the hall and the car park are leased by the Church to the Committee of Little Budworth Jubilee Hall Fund, which was established as a Registered Charity on 21st June 1977.

Little Budworth Jubilee Hall’s objective is:

To provide a village hall to be held upon trust for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Little Budworth, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.”
