Urgent – residents of Little Budworth must act now!

The Local Government Boundary Commission is carrying out an electoral review of the Wards within Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The aim of the review is to:

  • Recommend changes to Ward boundaries that mean each councillor represents approximately the same number of voters.

  • Ensure that the pattern of Wards reflects the interests and identities of local communities as well as promoting effective local government.

In order to achieve these aims, the Ward boundaries must be re-drawn across Cheshire West and Chester.

The commission has therefore suggested that Little Budworth leaves the Tarporley Ward and combines with Whitegate and Over (Winsford).

The Commission has requested comments on the proposed changes from people who will be affected. Comments must be submitted by 5th June.

Please see http://www.lgbce.org.uk/current-reviews/north-west/cheshire/cheshire-west-and-chester for more details of the review and proposed changes.

Comments can be submitted:
