Hall address: Little Budworth Village Hall, Vicarage Lane, Little Budworth, Tarporley, Cheshire. CW6 9BP
The Jubilee Hall belongs to the village of Little Budworth and is known locally as the Village Hall. Originally the hall was part of the Vicarage and was used as a coach house. The Church converted the coach house into The Church Room, which was used as a Sunday School, library and for other village functions. During the 1960’s the hall changed to secular status; it was rarely used and became rather dilapidated. Villagers raised funds and the Jubilee Hall Fund was set up. The hall and car park area was leased from the Church and the hall was enlarged and modernised to create a facility for the village.
The Little Budworth Jubilee Hall Fund was established as a Registered Charity on 21st June 1977.
Its object is:
“To provide a village hall to be held upon trust for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Little Budworth, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.”
