Update on the planting being carried out in the village

The volunteers from the planting group have made a fantastic
start and have been busy planting mixed coloured primroses around the road
signs in the village. They have also cleaned up the old bus shelter on Vicarage
Lane and started a rockery in this area.

A HUGE THANK YOU
to:

  • Barry Stallard who has donated the sandstone
  • Jamie Wright and Steve Ashe who helped move the
    stone
  • The volunteers from the planting group who have
been co-ordinating, planning and carrying out the planting!

If residents have any comments about the planting work please contact the parish council clerk, Graham Cookson, on graham.cookson@yahoo.co.uk or 01606 47716
